What do you do when you can't go to Mass? You're healthy, you want to go to Mass, you long to

receive Jesus in the Eucharist, but you can't because masses have been cancelled or

churches are closed you know with the spread of the coronavirus we've heard of

some different parts of the Catholic world that have had to cancel masses even on Sunday even in the city of

Rome well this story has hit me personally as of today at 1130 this morning

when I got the call from my wife.

Now don't worry, this three family is fine and we're healthy,

but I was out in my study room shed in our backyard, my home office,

and Beth gave me the call to tell me that the state of Colorado just announced

that the governor is asking all public gatherings of 250 people or more to be cancelled.

And she's making the connections and realizing you you know, the Archdiocese is probably

going to have to cancel masses this Sunday, and maybe indefinitely, we don't know for how long. And so she

says, let's go to mass as quick as we can. So we got the kids all dressed up and got them in the car.

We raced to a noon mass and thankfully we were able to receive Jesus

in Holy Communion one last time.

And then on the way home, we got the text message, hearing

about the announcement. Indeed, the Archdiocese announced that not only here in

Denver, but all three diocese in the entire state of Colorado have canceled masses for the rest of March.

So this story hit home to me and this kind of a story may come to a diocese near you in the weeks ahead and or maybe the

diocese of someone you love. What do we do? We don't know what's going to

happen with this coronavirus, but the fact of the matter is there are many
