Let us begin. So today, our message and passages for this morning's teaching will be coming from the book of Malachi, chapter three, verses one and two. Just two verses. The book of Malachi is the last book in the Old Testament, if you will. The book of Malachi. And for all of you who are able, I would ask you to stand for the reading

of the scriptures this morning. Malachi chapter three, verses one and two. The word of God reads,

behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me, and the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight.

Behold, he is coming, says the Lord of host. Verse two, but who can endure the day of

his coming? And who can stand when he appears? For he is like a refiners fire and like launderers

soap.

Loving Heavenly Father, I do pray indeed that you would bless this message to all of our hearts.

Absent your Holy Spirit, there is nothing that could be done here.

So, Lord, would you anoint us with your presence and the power of your Holy Spirit so that your word

will bring forth what it

intends to bring? Thank you

for what you will do, and

only you can provide for your people.

For we are needy and we are hungry.

Feed your sheep. In the mighty

name of Yeshua, Jesus the Christ, we pray.

Amen. Thank you and please be seated. So the title for today's sermon, preaching and teaching

is the coming king. Now, I recognize that in many of your

study Bibles, you'll see titles such as the coming messenger and so forth. And we will also

be speaking about that coming messenger. But what I want to do is make sure that we focus on who the messenger is speaking about.

I want to focus on the king that is to come.
