So I mentioned today will begin with two verses, and that's going to be the foundation of this topic.

It's going to be re-emphasizing something that I believe has been lost and continues to degrade in the church today, and it is a shame.

But the Bible speaks crystal clear to this, that we are serving the true and living God. And the way to that God

is crystal clear. It needs no interpretation. And if you're not there already, I would ask that

you return in your Bibles to 1 Timothy chapter 2 and stand as we read the scriptures we'll be getting in verse number 5

1st number 5 2 2 2 chapter 2 verses 5 and 6 so word of god reads for there is one god and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

who gave himself as a ransom for all people.

I dare not go at this alone, so please join me in a word of prayer.

Loving Heavenly Father, I want to thank you so much for being who you are.

And we are only here for your word.

So I would ask that you would descend your Holy Spirit in this congregation, in this place so that we can feel it

and allow you to speak clearly in our lives, your word. May everything done here today be for

your honor and for your glory. Bless us now with your presence and keep us by the power of your word
