in protest at the government's decision to go ahead with expansion of Heathrow Airport.

He's standing as an independent this time he won a majority of 23,000 here in the general election when he was a conservative. This time he's standing as an independent candidate so I won't have the conservative machine behind him.

The Lib Dems say they're not just throwing the kitchen sink at it they're going to throw the whole house

they think they can overturn that enormous majority by making this into a referendum on

Brexit all over again rather than Heathrow.
