As far as I know, you've been acting pretty much your entire life.

Yeah, I think I'm coming up on 37 years.

I try not to do that math too often.

How did you decide, like, this is what I want to do?

That was several different times, actually.

I tried to pursue it wholeheartedly many times and kind of got knocked back on my

keister just as many times.

You know, right up until about 13, 14 years ago, I was set to quit altogether. You know, I had a family,

and it had just been too many times, and I was, you know, I was definitely discouraged. And also,

I wanted to be practical. There are lots of other things in life that bring me joy and a sense of accomplishment also.

So I was going to pursue those.

And then actually, funny enough, Murdoch came along, and that was a big turning point

because I couldn't really say no at the time.

And I also sort of thought like, well, I don't know, what's the longevity of this show?
