0:18.2	You might know him better as Murdoch from the Murdoch mysteries. He is in a new film called
0:23.6	Helmington. Makes a little appearance than that. Jed with him about that and Murdoch and a few other things,
0:30.4	and I hope you enjoy it.
0:36.6	As far as I know, you've been acting pretty much your entire life.
0:41.7	Yeah, I think I'm coming up on 37 years.
0:45.9	I try not to do that math too often.
0:48.8	How did you decide, like, this is what I want to do?
0:51.8	That was several different times, actually.
0:55.0	I tried to pursue it wholeheartedly many times and kind of got knocked back on my
1:01.5	keister just as many times.
1:06.0	You know, right up until about 13, 14 years ago, I was set to quit altogether. You know, I had a family,
1:15.8	and it had just been too many times, and I was, you know, I was definitely discouraged. And also,
1:23.2	I wanted to be practical. There are lots of other things in life that bring me joy and a sense of accomplishment also.
1:31.0	So I was going to pursue those.
1:33.0	And then actually, funny enough, Murdoch came along, and that was a big turning point
1:40.1	because I couldn't really say no at the time.
1:45.5	And I also sort of thought like, well, I don't know, what's the longevity of this show?
1:50.8	Can't be that long.
