Hi, everybody. Hope you're having a great day. It has been an interesting day in news,

0:07.8

and we had breaking news today of Congress issuing a subpoena to a former president. And you don't

0:15.1

see that every day. It is historic. It is significant. And I thought I would just jump on and

0:20.5

give you the scoop on it.

0:22.0

I'm obviously in a different location that I usually am. Hopefully you could hear me clearly,

0:26.5

see me clearly. I want only the best for you when it comes to scoop. We're still sort of working

0:30.1

that out. But this is really important information because as we went into this week, we talked about

0:35.5

the House Select Committee investigating January 6th,

0:38.9

holding a hearing. And we didn't really know that much about this hearing. We didn't know if

0:43.2

witnesses would appear. We didn't know if it was the first of several hearings we could see over the

next several weeks, if it would be the final hearing. So we were kind of coming at it with a lack of information.

of an expectation today because late last night, the committee issued, or I should say yesterday,

1:12.9

the committee issued a statement sort of foreshadowing what's to come today in the hearing.

1:18.5

And that was that they were going to present their findings, which sort of made you feel,

1:22.8

well, maybe this is the conclusion. Maybe they're going to give us the conclusion of their

1:26.9

investigation that

1:27.7

has spanned more than a year. And in many ways, the hearing started off that way with summaries

1:33.4

and sound bites as we've seen in previous hearings. And then at the end, that's when the news

1:40.3

really came, where the committee said, we are not done. We need to speak to the former

1:46.4

president. He's the missing piece here. And this is really important. And then we get the news

...
