... Hey, folks, welcome to a very special episode of the projection booth. I'm your host Mike White on this. We are continuing

our reading of the Lost Ark. We are reading the story transcripts from the story sessions

that were held by George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and Lawrence Kasden. If you missed the first part,

this is not going to make any darn sense to you, so go on

back and listen to the first part. You will hear Andrew Roush as Steven Spielberg, Chris

Dasch, doing the lion's share of the work as George Lucas, and yours truly doing a horrible

Lawrence Kasden impersonation. It's trying to make it sound a little different from my own

voice and not succeeding at all. I usually have these intros recorded well before the show goes out,

but since the release of the first episode, I've gotten quite a bit of feedback, which is kind of nice.

One of the listeners even called it cocaine for the ears,

which is very surprising and sounds a little dangerous. Also, I should say that there are some

potentially insensitive words being thrown around here, calling German people crouts.

There's a lot of talk about orientals and Arabs and things.

So it was 1978, 79, something like that when this was happening.

So got to put yourself back in the time.

I should probably say, too, that as we were recording these,

there was a lot of just kind of stopping and commenting on the reading

as we were doing it. All of those have been cut out with maybe one exception in this episode.
