We met a pair of young movie makers who are filming their own version of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Their summer project is the subject of tonight's page 13.

It's become a cult favorite.

They used real snakes, did their own stunts,

and nearly burnt down their mom's house.

I don't know how to explain this, but it's Raiders the Lost Ark remade, shot for shot by 11-year-old kids in 1982.

I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it.

Just the idea that these two guys

were able to make this

movie over a period of seven years

to me is absolutely mind-boggling.

They were in college by the time

it was spinning.

He's got that much time and energy.

The fact that they didn't burn down the house is a miracle

seems like a good example of bad parenting you're not just watching raiders you're rooting

for the kids to succeed it's the best feeling ever had in my life we kind of missed out our

childhood but the whole time we realized we're filming our childhood.

Once that became part of their lives, it's almost as if they've never been able to shake it even up until now.

After we finished, I would have a recurring dream that somewhere we would be shooting the airplane scene.
