Music I'm very curious about your background and how you decided to become a writer.

I think everything happens for a reason.

Right about the mid-century, 2005, 2006, everything was going great, and I had more business than I could handle. You know, I come from a business background. My partners and I, we

were doing deals left and right and just fat and happy.

And then 2007 and 2008 hit and the brakes all of a sudden were put on.

Nobody was doing anything.

The world was falling apart.

The economy was going to heck.

And I am not used to being bored and not used to having something to do.

So the plaza has always fascinated me. And I found out there used to be a nightclub there called the Persian Room. And I thought it was just fascinating. It had opened in 1934, had been there until 1975, and I really didn't know anything about it,

and a lot of the other people there didn't know anything about it.
