We're just going to be talking real briefly here.

We've got an interview with Owen Glyberman about his book, movie freak.

But I didn't just want to go in cold, and I actually wanted to talk to somebody who has read the book movie freak

because I know I didn't I listened to it on Audible. That's cheating. It's what I have to do sometimes.

Although I guess it probably is worth it to hear his voice talk about his co-binge. That probably is

something I need to check into. He doesn't pull any punches when it comes to his own stuff.

That's one reason I thought the book was amazing, is that it is probably one of the more

naked, not putting a pun there, one of the more naked autobiographies I've ever read,

because he is not at all shy about putting himself out there

what he likes in bed that sort of thing it's all there all his flaws and you know he's more power

to him that's brave no it's very brave I was very I was almost a little taking it back when we got

into some of that stuff and I was just like wow I thought this was just going to be a book about a guy that

likes movies a lot and maybe talk about his days at Entertainment Weekly.

But yeah, I was, I was very surprised and pleasantly so that it really got into some very

deep territory and some pretty dark stuff too.

Yeah, there have been several books like that lately of critics looking back on their career,
