He wrote the book Seeking Perfection, all about tremors.

He is back with a new book called A Kind of Magic, The Making of the Original Highlander.

go from writing about Tremors to writing about the Highlander? There's a few different reasons.

I enjoyed writing about Tremors, first of all. That book was my first

attempt at a book, and I didn't know that I could write a book. So it was kind of me just experimenting,

really, and seeing if it worked. And it seemed to work. People seemed to enjoy it. And as I say,

I enjoyed writing it. So I was thinking, once I finished that book in 2015, part of me was thinking I've had

enough of writing books and taking years to do it.

Part of me was thinking, actually, what's next?

So when you're writing a book, I suppose, or for me anyway, if you're going to write a book

on a film or a TV show show you kind of want to know

either that nobody else has done it before or if it has been done it's maybe you know you can

improve it in some way and with high under there was another book out which is actually a great

book but it only covers the first film in about 11 pages and all the other films and the

TV series gets a bit more detail. So I kind of thought, well, I would like to know more about

the first film. And so I started just emailing some people, obviously the obvious people like

Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery and Clancy Brown emailing their agents to see if they were

interested in talking about this film and nobody really got back to me and this was in
