I'm your host, Mike White.

On this episode, I'm talking with Matthew Mallison.

He is an editor, director, producer.

He started his directing career with Fist of Fear, Touch of Death, went on to work on things

such as Chameleon Street, even had a little bit of role in bringing to life The Baron, which we spoke

about earlier this year. There's a great time talking about Mr. Mallison, had a lot of good

stories to tell. I had a wonderful time talking with him, and I hope you have a great time

hearing him. Enjoy the interview. I wanted to know how you got into filmmaking. Like a lot of

people, I went to school, went to college. I actually went to NYU and to Queens College.

I wanted to see what the NYU experience was like. But anyhow, after that, went out,

and a lot of people

go knocking on doors, and I made my way to a place called August Films, which was referred to at

the time as the Technicolor building, because Technicolor occupied most of the space in that

building, that 321 West 44. Technicolor is no longer there. But August Films was like the East Coast version of New World Pictures, or those of people

who are old enough to remember New World, lots of production, throw you into a situation,
