0:04.5	On this episode, I am giving you a little shout out as to some things that are coming up when it comes to the Fantasia Film Festival.
0:13.0	The 2024 Fest runs from July 18th through August 4th up there in Montreal, but there is also an online component to it, and I will be
0:23.3	covering this festival remotely.
0:25.7	Normally, they ask for a curtain raiser episode, which is a, hey, these are some of the cool
0:31.0	things coming up in the festival, but I haven't seen the movies, so I'm not exactly sure
0:37.1	what's happening at the festival as far as the films go.
0:41.5	But I will tell you some of the great things that I know for sure will be happening and things that you should be definitely checking out.
0:48.9	First up, there are some new movies that are coming out from some friends of the show.
0:54.3	Aunt Timpson, who's back with a new film called Bookworm, starring his pal, Elijah Wood.
1:00.7	Eleanor Kane, who used to be on the show quite often, haven't talked with him in a while.
1:04.5	He has a new film called The Dead Thing.
1:07.3	And our friend Miguel Yonzo, who did Crumbs.
1:10.5	He is back with a new one called Infinite Summer.
1:13.7	It sounds like I will be definitely talking with him in a future episode all about that one.
1:19.6	Also, you can check out movies by Monty Hellman, who we've had on the show before, RIP.
1:25.5	His Cockfighter adaptation of Charles Williford's book is going to be playing in conjunction
1:30.9	with the release of a new book from Kayla Janice, all about the movie and the experience
1:36.9	of Cockfighter.
1:38.5	We will be doing a special episode all about that over the next few weeks slash months.
1:44.6	Been looking forward to that one since 2018.
1:48.1	Also, Vincenzo Natale is going to be at the festival.
