He's been on the show before talking about the programming that he does at Escape from Tribeca at the Tribeca Film Festival.

He's back to tell us all about this year's festival and some of the great movies and events

Jonathan Penner back in the hot seat again. Tribeca 2024 runs June 5th through 16th,

and you are escaping from Tribeca, but you're actually there. It's just the name of the whole

program. Yeah, we called it Escape from Tribeca because son of Tribeca, which is what I first thought

of were daughter of Tribeca. They hated a lot, but they came up with escape from Tribeca, a really smart guy. And I said, I love it. So let's call it that. And this is year two of our visceral movie madness sidebar platform part of Tribeca. And we have an incredible lineup this year. So I'd love to talk

with you and your folks about. Before we even dive into this year, how was last year? How was

Angela Mao? How was that whole Kung Fu spectacular that you put on? Dude, it was incredible.

Angela Mao is a living legend. Andre Morgan, who produced Enter the Dragon and knew Bruce Lee. The two of them were on stage. We showed a beautiful 4K restoration of the movie, had a Kung Fu demonstration beforehand, and then talking with her on stage was really beautiful.
