Jim Kramer is off tonight. A well-time special tech entered the second half of the year after Momentum, the Monster Run to

Start 2023, the Nasdak had its best first half in 40 years.

The XLK Tech EDF up 39% year to date.

Those games have really been mostly among the biggest players

as we've discussed, the Magnificent 7,

as some are calling them.

Semiconductors, they've done pretty well, especially given

Invidia and A&D, but Legacy Tech, like Cisco and IBM,

those stocks trail.

And newly public companies, emerging tech, recent IPOs, some of those

struggles as well stocks like Hashi Corp and Pager Duty. So what do you do

now? That is the big theme that we are taking up tonight. Can you trust the same story to keep playing out

in the second half of the year?

You kind of never can.

Well, new today, the data from the jobs report

that gives us a bit of a better picture

of the labor environment. The total number came in below

expectations but the employment picture remains robust. We still added more than

200,000 jobs in June. Wage growth remains high. I sat down with Amazon CEO Andy Jassie yesterday.

He describes the road forward as still uncertain for the economy, despite the sticky labor

market and the big move higher for equities in the first half of the year.
