You know this. You look in the news at all.

There's going to be some story about race in our country.

It is, things do not seem to be getting better.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the church looked like the kingdom, It is, things do not seem to be getting better.

Wouldn't it be awesome if the church looked like the kingdom of God?

Like my church did.

Like the people I get together with, wouldn't it be great?

And then people could look at the church to go, hey, what did you?

Because we can't figure this out.

What did you guys do?

How does this work?

How does it work that when I introduced Jesus into the equation, you guys can be unified? Because the rest of the world cannot figure it out. Chris Williamson is a guy we talked to in our podcast occasionally. He said

actually it's cool from his perspective because some churches really are going, wait a second,

we have to address this. The same way we should look at the scriptures systematically, inductively, for the purpose

of applying them as the same way we should look at social events that really divide us

or that leave us overwhelmed. We can apply many of the same principles to interpreting social events.

I love this, but give me, give me an example, one of those tools that you can say, we can

apply that to this too. Well, well, whether it's McKinney, Texas, or the young man getting killed

in Ohio, whatever.

You have to first look at it and recognize that what you see is not all there is.
