Today I'm going to do something a little different

because today is a day that I really didn't think would affect me

as much as it has.

Well, it's not the day,

but it's the day of Ivana Trump's funeral.

And given that I have so much respect and love for New York City,

even though it's a shadow of its former self right now,

I want to talk about Ivana and Donald and the great gossip columnist,

Cindy Adams and how their role kind of intertwined.

And well, look, I'll just, I'm going to shoot from the heart.

I think that's what I do best when it comes to these type of stories.

And I apologize if the phone behind me rings.

I lowered the volume as best I can, but sometimes it just does.

And if that happens, I'll stop tape as quickly as I can.

And we'll, we'll get back at it.

But so I watched snippets of Ivana Trump's funeral today.

And it got me sad.

Sad that a great New Yorker has gone.
