allergies I have. And we are throat deep in flim right now, but we're also excited to announce our

Patreon. Oh, thank God. They're going to take my shoes. Jake, what is a Patreon exactly?

Patreon is a website where people that love an artist's work can sign up for regular

donations in exchange for bonus content, merchandise, and a lot of other extra goodies.

The way we want to do this is people have talked about how they want more

from the podcast. You know, they listen to the episode every week. And then it's just kind of over. And honestly, we love doing this. And we wish we could do it more. And Patreon is kind of the way we're going to be able to do that. You see, back in 2016, before we even started this show, Jake and I kind of met up at a crossroads in our life where we were like,

what can we do to, you know, get to do what we love and make a living off of it and really

support ourselves with something that we actually care about, deeply, deeply, deeply. And that's what

Wizard and the Bruiser came out of for us. So this is really our big step towards making

that more and more of a reality. I mean, I'm in a situation right now where I was lucky

enough to walk away from a soul-crushing day job earlier this year. And but still, I need to

make ends meet, you know, I or I'll have to go right back to that horrible soul crippling day job. And they liked me. And they said, I could totally go back there. Guys, I really don't want to go back there. Like, honestly, it was a nightmare. It was horrible. It was real estate shirts. But listen, this is really a way for me and Jake to support our lives moving forward with something that we're passionate about. And I think that that's all anybody in this life really wants to be

able to do is. and Jake to support our lives moving forward with something that we're passionate about.

But that's not important right now, Jake.

It was our mistake for picking a podcast format that required days and nights worth of research every week.

It is.

Thus cutting into our professional, social, and romantic obligations.

It is, but I will say that, you know, I've learned so much doing this podcast.

And I don't know if I could really do a podcast that would get this sort of listener attention and love any other way.
