about race stuff. Sherry's got a play that she's presenting, she wrote, and she's producing and directing, and it's in September in Pittsburgh, but it's about a black church and a white church that have to work it out and get together.

We discussed this issue the other night.

My faith discussion group is spiritual.

It's not mine.

I'm a part of it.

But we talk about different spiritual beliefs, and we respect everybody's opinions. We respect everyone, not necessarily their opinions. That's what we put it.

And these aren't all believers in Jesus. Oh, not at all. No, minority Christian. Okay. But last time it was about diversity and about race and stuff. And a woman who's a believer came up to me afterward and was like

i don't know what to do because i understand what you're saying about how my black brothers and

sisters view me they they think and i i made this point that there's a presumption that white

people think they're superior and she she was going, okay, I accept that. How do I move past it? How do I make up for it? How do I actually, how do we get over this so that we set an example in our lives with the church? So she's like, what's the next step? She's asking me. I did my best to explain. I landed

where I think you'll land on this, but what would what would you have told her? Like, she wants to,

she doesn't, she wants to get over it. Right. And not whitewash it, not just say, it doesn't matter,

but move on to something better?

I think what I would have told her is, first of all, you have to be in a place where you're not.

So you're going to have to make yourself a little uncomfortable being, you know, you can't

do it if you're not with the people.

You know what I mean?

If you're just with a group of white people talking about, how can we ever make it better?

Well, the first thing is that you have to step outside of your own culture.
