So let's talk about your book here. Finding God's Life for My Will. Chapter 7 starts with,

this is not a logical place to jump off with the book, but I just want to dive into this.

The leader label lie. Yeah. Okay. So read that, read the St. Augustine quote.

Okay, the St. Augustine quote, which you start the chapter with,

no man can be a good bishop if he loves his title, but not his task.

Yes.

Talk about this, because I know I'm going to agree with you 100%, but it's nice to hear somebody else say it.

Okay.

Well, you know, the book is kind of just this hypothesis that perhaps we've put our success and our achievements way ahead of where God

would prioritize them. And he's just saying, hey, guys, like, instead of looking for success,

why don't you just look for my presence, first and foremost.

And one of the ways that plays out, I feel like a lot of people, they don't really want to do ministry for God.

They just want to be seen and praised for doing ministry for God.

So you're saying their ministry is a conduit to attention? Yes, exactly. The power and the fame is the purpose of the ministry and not the love for the people you're ministering to.

This is highly offensive to me.
