I've been thinking about the Pharisees.

I have no answer here.

I've just been thinking about, really about your upcoming book and the

things that we tell ourselves. Yeah. And so obviously we look at them now. They're the quote

unquote villains in the story, even though I'm not sure Jesus looked at it. He's at the end of his life.

He's saying, Father, forgive them. But we see them as the bad guys, right? Yeah.

But they are not viewing themselves as the bad guys in this story.

No.

So what is the story they're telling themselves about this guy? Because this guy's the bad guy to them.

Right.

Right?

Yeah.

They're saying they probably can't even tell the truth to themselves.

Don't you think?

Like they can't say this is why he really bothers me.

He's getting a lot of attention.

That's true.

He's short-circuiting our extreme, like the amount of education that these guys had
