Hey there everyone, this week I'm actually just having finished up my third quarter of the

year and we are officially on a week holiday for tomb sweeping festivals so I don't have

an episode out of my own however that is not to say I'm leaving you with nothing.

Today we have a special episode from a friend of the show and partner history podcast known

history daily hosted by Lindsey Graham, probably not the Lindsey Graham you're thinking of,

not the politician, the other Lindsey Graham, the podcaster.

History daily as its name would rightly suggest tells the fascinating stories of what happened

on this day in history each and every day. New episodes come out each weekday and it is a broad

mix of history from famous battles to even fashion firsts. There's medicine, science,

technology, religion, politics, sports, basically all the historical things that make us

who we are today. Although I know you guys are a little more used to listening to a longer length

show 30 to 40 minutes, history daily clocks in at a little bit shorter which is just a bite-sized

chunk that under 20 minutes each usually around yeah 15 to 20. So if you need to just a little

bit of history hit you can just start it in and finish it before you're done cleaning the dishes

or mowing the lawn or driving to work or whatever. Since it's history of the day and since it is

just kind of all over the place in terms of times and places you might discover something amazing

that you've never known before about history or a time period or a people or a civilization.

And even if you think you know very well what happened on this day in history you might just be

surprised. History daily's motto is that history is human and so it strives to find overlooked and

often forgotten human stories behind the names and dates of ordinary great man history.
