Welcome back Packers fans to the Packaday podcast. The Thursday edition, another weekend is almost here.

It's a long weekend, Labor Day weekend for most of us anyway, I hope. I am one half of your Thursday crew, Jason Perrone.

the Green Bay Packers. And Packers and every other team. And then the busyness just started because

like we had mentioned last week that because the cut down day came so soon on

Tuesday August 29th the first game of the season is until September for the Packers isn't until

September 10th. Right. So it's not like it used to be also where you would cut Tuesday and play Sunday.

They got a they have there's 12 days between the final cut and, and your opener.

There's, there's going to be some, like, if you're on the 53 today, don't get, don't get

too happy because there's going to be some other moves made between now and Sunday, you know,

maybe got some guys going on at your reserve.

Trades might still happen, you know, a bunch of guys were cut injured reserve. Trades might still happen.

You know, a bunch of guys were cut.

A lot of teams are going to look at some of those guys and think they're better than

what they have and they're going to pick those guys up and cut other guys.

There's going to be a lot of moves between now and opening day.

Yeah, definitely, no doubt.

So the cutdowns obviously started on Tuesday and have the moves have continued on. But before we get to any of that, Mark Echall, I should say we have two marks here. We have a guest and I will let you do the honors to introduce him and thank him so much for being with us.
