Welcome in to Thursday's edition of the Locked on Raiders podcast, August 12th, 2021.

Excited because we are just a couple days away from the very first preseason game at

Allegiance Stadium, the only preseason game this season at Allegiance Stadium versus Seattle Seahawks. Very excited about that

game. And yes, it's a preseason game. You don't want to get over the top. You don't want to

be super crazy about it. I remember there was a time where the Raiders went 4 and 0 in the

preseason. There was times that they went 3 and one in the preseason, then didn't do anything in the regular season. So these games don't matter, except for the Raiders, they matter, especially this

year, where they have a lot of young players that just need to get acclimated to playing in a game

with fans in the stands. I mean, just, there's a lot to like about what's coming up and very

excited for the fan base in general to get that first opportunity to be in Allegiance Stadium and watch a football game against another team.

And so I'm excited to be there to be able to cover it.

I just think it's going to be a lot of fun.
