All right, this is Tom Vassal.

Welcome to a special episode of the Dice Tower. If you were looking for

episode 150, that's coming in about 8 or 9 days from now, which will be saying goodbye to

Sam Healy. But this is a special episode.

I wanted to do a bit of a preview to Origins 2009.

Now if you are a fan of the Dice Tower, then we're really glad because 2009, we're going to have a pretty large presence at origins.

Or maybe you're just listening to this to find out what's at origins.

Now let me tell you this straight up, while we certainly love all the different events at Origins, we're

going to focus mainly on things that might interest a board gamer or a card

gamer, although again,

RPGs and collectible card games and miniature games.

They're certainly there in full fours and we do enjoy those to some degree.

But I'm going to come out this from the perspective of a board

gamer. What do board gamers like at Origins and I've enlisted the aid of a few people

here so I'm just going to jump right into these folks.
