Hello and welcome to another episode of Deep State Radio.

This is a special episode where we're going to take a deep dive into a story that appeared over the weekend in the New York Times that was, I think, essential reading to understanding what is going on within this coronavirus crisis and the government response.

The story was called, he could have seen what was coming behind Trump's failure on the virus. It ran on April 11th and it was written by

Eric Lipton, David Sanger, make Maggie Haberman, Michael Sheer, Mark Mazzetti,

and Julian Barnes and we're very lucky to have with us today.

Of course, our friend, David Sanger, regular here at Deep State Radio,

and his colleague Michael Shear, who is a White House correspondent for the New York Times,
