It's tough to know where to begin, but let's begin with, you know, this latest U.S.-backed coup attempt in Venezuela.

I wanted to get kind of to the deeper issue of why it is that the U.S. has it out for Venezuela in such a kind of unique way. I mean, there's only a few countries in the world that the U.S. has it out for Venezuela in such a kind of unique way.

I mean, there's only a few countries in the world that the U.S. seems to go after

with the same vitriol regularity as they do, Venezuela.

And you recently on your podcast spoke about how it's much deeper than just oil reserves, which is what I have

often said, but there's a lot more to it. Yeah, I mean, certainly oil is a factor. I'll talk about

that. And we've seen Donald Trump in a 2003 Republican Party rally. He said, we came so close to

taking over Venezuela, we would have gotten all of its oil.

So in that comment, I mean, it says a lot.

First of all, he has this kind of neo-colonial view we're going to take over the country.
