But the bottom line, you're used to fighting talk. And we've got a fighter here today. Daniel, let me get right into this. Why are you running for governor? Because like every other Oregonian that's been here for a long time, I'm really sick and tired of the political

climate and the lack of survival future for most people in this state. Did you go, by the way,

did you drive through this protest? I actually did. And if I hadn't, if I didn't have my,

you know, like, map on trying to get here, I would have filmed it and posted what it was. I think it's completely bizarre and that's the most polite word I can come up with it. Why don't the Republicans ever protest? My father used to tell about this when I was a little kid. He said because they're at work. Republicans are at work. They don't have time to go down a breath. And we drive him insane that somebody could spend a day complaining.

They got quite a few people to come out and line the streets. Yeah, but did you happen to notice the demographic of people that were lining the streets? Because I did. Tell me. So there was not a single person there under the age of 60. Oh, really? And there was not a single person of color.

All there, everybody was white and all of them definitely would be defined from the left as a person of

privilege. Yeah. What is the animal costume all about? What is what is going on with these new animal

outfits? I, you know, I don't actually know the answer to that, but I can tell you that I've

seen a lot on the, for the protests in downtown Portland at the ice facility. There's a man that

comes in a truck, and he hands out these costumes, these blow-up costumes. There's a frog man.

Out here, there was like a puddle duck, and a couple other ones. And I think it's just too, it's a mockery. You know, they're trying to draw attention, of course, from all ages. And the puddle duck caught my attention. You know, your life would be a lot easier if everybody liked you as much as I like you as quickly as I like you. And you want to know where that came from, by the way? No. Miss Natalie. And I'll tell you what happened. You came to Tumwater. And so, so, so you and I could have ended up being opponents, right? It's, it's one of these things where you're going to be nice to me and I'm going to be nice to you and I'm going to go home and figure how to beat you and you're going to figure out how to beat me, but I met your daughter. And anything that you would have said, like, this guy and this jerk, I got to beat this guy.

I would have said like,

this guy and this jerk, I got to beat this guy, I would have gotten from her. I didn't. I got the opposite from her. She came up. She greeted me. She said, it's nice to meet you. Her eyes, like, told the story. I thought, her mom hasn't badmouthed me. her mom did not tell her that this is a bad guy or this is a future

opponent. And that was the moment. I go, I'm on the Bethel train. That was the moment that when I just,

I wanted you to know that. And by the way, it turns out that you have a daughter Reagan.

Yes, I do. I have a sister Reagan. Oh. I just think that's an interesting coincidence.

Yeah. You have something to do with the plumbing business. I had something to do with the plumbing business. Yeah. Kindred Spirits. That's well and also

Oh. Yes. I didn't know that. Yes. And, and, oh, yeah, she's all, I didn't know that either. We spent

Christmas together and it came up like at the very end. I'm like, I feel like that's something

you would have mentioned. She's like, I thought you knew. Well, she's a mover and a shaker and really

wants to, you know, I think leave a mark on history with really good positive impact.
