Generally speaking, what's the current state of the job market?

So the job market has been slowing and cooling for over two years now, ever since the Fed started raising interest rates.

At first, that was probably a good thing.

The labor market was normalizing

and getting back to about the conditions

that existed before the pandemic.

But now, many economists are worrying that it is cooling too much and that it could actually get into a little bit of trouble unless rates normalize soon.
