Because what I don't want to do to our listeners is actually record an entire episode with a crappy mic. Yeah. That would be, it would probably matter mostly just to me. But it might matter to some people, you know. I'm sure there's some audio files who, uh, who respect the game in here. Yeah, absolutely. Um, no what I ever work with on a podcast does. I mean, you, you respect me. And so I think you respect like my taste.

0:23.2

But ultimately, and correct me if I'm wrong, I'm making some assumptions on you, you could

0:27.6

care less about some of the things that I truly care about when it comes to audio quality.

0:31.8

Let me put it this way. It's one of those things that I don't notice until it's bad.

0:36.3

You know what I mean? Like, there are podcasts. There are, like, I listened to a podcast once where the guy's voice kept, like, raising and lowering, and I had to kind of raise and lower my radio. And I was like, what is going on with this? Yeah. And it turns out that, yeah, the guy is just like moving towards the mic, moving away from the mic and was doing it without any ability to recognize that they had poor microphone etiquette.

1:02.9

And it drove me nuts, nuts.

1:05.2

Yeah.

1:05.6

Yeah.

1:06.3

And here's the thing is with editing, you can level that out a little bit.

1:09.4

Yeah.

1:09.7

And like I do.

1:10.7

Because we're humans.

1:12.3

We naturally move what I hate those, what people don't realize.

1:17.4

Because a lot of people, what our brains always tell us about microphones is that they can only pick up the sounds that I can hear in the room.

1:23.7

Not true.

1:24.7

They can pick up so much more than, and then it will come out on the speakers completely differently. And the biggest thing is people thumping the desk. People are like, yeah, I don't notice that my thumb is tapping at all. I feel it at my thumb, but I don't hear any sound. Your microphone fucking does. So, if you're a guest on our, if you're a guest on our podcast, I want you to wear boxing gloves. And then that's it. That's all you can do because then you can't thump as hard. And I don't mean like UFC gloves, where it's mainly just to protect your knuckles, not their face. I mean like the big old like 1920s, like let's go boxing she like those kind of go wow yeah yeah yeah

2:02.6

anyway uh with that i'm in the hot seat today this is one of our special editions where

2:06.9

spencer and i give each other scenarios loosely based off the master your medics 100 patient

2:11.1

scenarios books but uh you know because we both gone through those so many times to find

2:15.6

scenarios for each other we started figuring out uh out, we knew which one it was.
