Summary

STATE OF GRACE - Episode 34

-Our hosts give their initial reactions to "State of Grace" having just heard it for the first time

-I know it doesn't happen often, but we made a mistake last week and offer a retraction: The bonus materials on the Target Deluxe Edition of Red HAVE been officially released and include: The Moment I Knew, Come Back... Be Here, Girl At Home, Treacherous (Original Demo Recording), Red (Original Demo Recording), State of Grace (Acoustic Version)

-If you nominate Adam to win a trip to see Taylor on Good Morning America, I will bake you a homemade cheesecake!!!  If you nominate Belle, she will bake cookies

-Probably the COOLEST thing this episode, we share a VERY scientific method a listener used last week to accurately predict the release of "State of Grace" as this week's single!!

-We discuss the unique cover art released with "State of Grace"

-It's amazing how "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and "State of Grace" provide such contrasting views of the EXACT SAME PERSON!

-Finally, despite what the other hosts say, I (Adam) think music should name a new genre "Taylor Swift" since she doesn't fit into any other genre

Bell, Maya, and Diane.

Hey, everybody. Hi. Hey. Welcome to this lovely October 15th. State of Grace came out early

again. I love iTunes. Yeah. For posting things to their systems an hour early.

And I love everybody and everything right now.

0:41.3

Hi.

0:42.3

Oh, Bell is a little weird right now, so sorry.

0:46.2

Just a little.

0:46.6

We're like on a Taylor Song High right now.

0:48.8

That's cool.

0:49.5

It's completely natural.

0:50.9

So some quick announcements before we get going.

0:53.4

As we said the last couple episodes, these single releases are called for special edition Taylor Talks.

0:59.3

So the mini segments are being postponed until we get back on our regular schedule.

1:04.9

In the meantime, Bell is putting together a special project for us that's going to be released on October 22nd along with the Reda album. So you guys have that to look forward to. That uses all of your mini segments that we have missed the last couple weeks. In other words, keep submitting them and guys, send voicemails because they're going to be used in this project. Oh yeah, voicemails. There's actually a lot of voice mails. Submit through the voicemails. I have to send you still bell. The songs in the voicemails. Talk about what you think about the album. Anything that you want. Send in voicemails. Next announcement. I have to issue a slight retraction from last episode. We said, mistakenly so, that the bonus tracks had not been officially released yet. What we meant when we said that

1:46.3

was that we had seen them all over the social networks, but they hadn't been officially released

1:50.3

and we were mistaken. They were, in fact, on the Big Machine Records website. The Target

1:55.8

Deluxe edition of Red is going to include a song called The Moment I Knew, Come Back, Be Here, Girl at Home,

2:04.7

then an original demo recording of Tretcherous, an original demo recording of Red,

2:10.0

and an acoustic version of State of Grace, which we're going to talk about later. What up.

2:13.9

So before we get going to that State of Grace discussion, let's hear the calendar for Maya.
