Summary

Join Tina and Tommie Runz for a shakeout from the Tracksmith Trackhouse the day before the Boston Marathon. Tina begins the run with a casual jog up to the Trackhouse, followed by the meditative aspects of our Together Runs through a sit down on a bench with Tommie, who takes us through a body scan and senses check in. Then Tina and Tommie lead off the 250+ people shakeout run where Tina interviews muliple runners with wonderful, unique, beautiful stories of courage and strength with the running community. This shakeout is like no other, come join us!

0:43.8

of nature before we begin. We might do it again at the Shakeout, but I'm going to touch

0:48.4

this tree. Thank you for being here, tree. Just grounding ourselves and we're ready

1:00.3

to go in three, two and one. I'm running with my coat on that is covering my shorts, so

1:10.8

I look like I have no pants on and I'm holding my bag in my hand. So this is going to be

1:15.9

a bit funny, so I might walk. I think I'm going the right direction. Oh, there's a big

1:24.8

group of runners. Boilsston. Okay, so if that's Boilsston, then I need to go this way.

1:34.8

Okay, so I can see the finish line right now, which is pretty cool. Oh, I guess this

1:41.5

person's waiting. There is a lot of energy in the city this morning, just in general with

1:54.1

people all over the place. Just, you can feel this is the first time it's felt quote-unquote

2:02.5

normal in a while. And so, yeah, well, not quite normal, I suppose, but it's feeling like

2:13.5

it did before, at least to me. So I'm just going to run down Commonwealth. It's going to

2:30.3

run down Commonwealth. I'm going to meet Tommy. Did yesterday I cricked my neck? Is that

2:41.9

even a word? Crick. Tweaks my neck or whatever. So my neck hurts. Trying to carry a shoulder

2:50.2

bag instead of my usual backpack. So if any of you have seen people carrying a shoulder

3:01.2

bag and thought, oh, that looks so like that's such a good idea, which I have. And then

3:07.3

decided and decided to switch your usual bag for that. Don't stick to the backpack from
