Good morning to you. It is Saturday, September the 16th. I'm Ali Velshi. There has been a flurry of activity this week in the former President Donald Trump's multiple criminal cases.

But we begin this morning with the latest in the motion unsealed in relation to special

0:22.3

counsel Jack Smith's federal election interference case. We learned last night that Smith is seeking

a narrowly tailored gag order against the former president to prevent him from continuing

to make statements targeted at and about potential witnesses in the case.

1:45.2

the country. He's made numerous disparaging comments about the prosecutors who brought the cases

1:50.8

against him, the judges who were randomly assigned to those cases, as well as people who it is

1:56.6

anticipated could be potential witnesses. And about a month ago, just a few days after he was

2:02.7

criminally indicted for a fourth time, Trump posted a vague but alarming threat in all caps on

2:09.2

his social media platform, truth social, which read, quote, if you go after me, I'm coming after you.
