| 1:22.2 | And in Anchorage, you have a city that's unprepared. They've heard the |

| 1:30.0 | 1918, but they've always considered it something somewhere different, something other people |
| 1:34.9 | dealt with. There's no indication that they were preparing or were prepared for what happened. |
| 1:42.2 | Not that they truly could have prepared for a pandemic, |
| 1:45.0 | but it's interesting that they always talked about Spanish influenza in terms of what was happening elsewhere |
| 1:50.0 | rather than what they can do to prepare. |
| 1:53.2 | And in October you have this time when, |
| 1:56.7 | as part of that, you have doctors telling people that |
| 1:59.7 | don't worry about it. |
| 2:00.9 | They're explicitly telling people there's no influenza in Engridge. |
