I'm Paul Hastings, and you're listening to Compelled, where we use gripping, immersive storytelling to bring to live Christian testimonies from the kingdom of God, told by the people compelled to live for him.

Today's episode is unlike any we've done before,

0:46.5

because last week we published episode number 100. And today, we're here to celebrate God's faithfulness. It has been a long journey since we first launched Compelled back in 2018.

And back then, Sarah and I had a one-year-old daughter and compelled was simply a side

0:58.4

project that we launched one summer, mainly as an experiment.

2:01.9

Every 50-minute episode of Compelled that you listen to actually took around 60 to 80 hours to create.

2:08.9

That includes trimming down the original interviews, writing and recording narration,

2:14.3

layering music and sound effects, and precisely editing the dialogue to to remove us and ums and stutters

2:20.5

while still sounding natural and mixing and mastering the final versions for you to enjoy and of course

2:26.2

none of that includes researching possible stories or screening potential guests and then

2:31.3

setting up our annual recording session in a different part of America each year.
