Dear listeners, we wish to announce that plans to bring you details of the coroner's

findings due to be handed down this week will no longer proceed.

This advice was made known to the parties on Monday the 28th of November.

I then followed up with New South Wales local courts media and was told this.

I have been advised this afternoon that the findings for Wednesday 30th of November have

been vacated.

There is no future date at this stage and it is postponed following further investigations.

We know Sally particularly was looking forward to the inquest concluding.

However, this may be very good news for the investigation into Marion's disappearance,

given the recent evidence which has come to light in the latest two episodes of this

podcast.

Particularly, the testimonies of Jelaine and her daughter-in-law Alexandra, whose stories

may give detectives a trove of new evidence.

Just to refresh your memory, the inquest into the disappearance of Marion Bata began on

the 21st of June 2021 in Lidcomb, Sydney.

It was extended three times and resumed in Ballena, Byron Bay and Lysmore in Northern

New South Wales.

Twelve volumes of evidence were examined during the inquest.

The coroner heard 22 days of evidence in total.

We will continue to inform you of new developments and hope that this gets us closer to achieving

justice for not only Marion but all the victims who have been identified through this

podcast.
