The battle is real and it looks different, but God does not change! You can ask Him to help you untangle the confusion within your child. The caveat is that we must not miss the opportunity to bathe our truth in love.

0:06.8	I'm excited to be here with you today. We're going to be talking a little bit today,
0:10.4	kind of bouncing off what we talked about on Wednesday. Today will be a shorter podcast because
0:14.7	I'm getting ready to speak here in Sparta, New Jersey and looking forward to hugging a bunch of
0:20.0	your next tonight. But today we're going to talk a little bit about what it looks like to speak
0:24.7	the truth in love. Stick around. I think you're going to be encouraged.
0:37.0	All right, so we have so many good things going on here in 2018. I am so excited about
0:44.0	the Mom Strong Conference, which starts tonight. So we'll start tonight at about 6.30. So if you're
0:49.9	in the area, if you're anywhere near, I flew into New York City, so I know you people can make it out.
0:54.1	So although I will say hats off to you, I don't have to take a subway where I go.
0:59.5	So for those of you who live in the area, come on out and love to see you. We're going to spend
1:04.8	tonight just worshiping the Lord and digging into his word a little bit, talking about what it
1:09.6	means to become Mom Strong. What does it mean to learn to know and apply God's word in the culture
1:17.6	today in a way that resonates with the Holy Spirit. In other words, we want to walk in step with
1:22.9	God. We want to walk in step with His Spirit and in step with His Word so that we don't sound
1:28.2	like that Gong. The Bible says that a person who speaks without love sounds like a Gong. Do you
1:34.6	have some of you remember the Gong show? Right? Some of you are old enough to remember the Gong show.
1:39.6	And they'd have people get out on stage, just kind of like a variety show. And if they were terrible,
1:46.1	then they hit a big Gong and they yanked him off the stage. I mean, it was almost like
1:50.4	like an early version of American Idol. So that's what the Bible says we sound like when we don't
1:56.6	learn to speak the truth in love. So today, I'm going to touch on that for just a few minutes. This
2:01.2	is going to be a shortened podcast today so that I can go and get ready to speak this evening.
