| 0:00.0 | You believe in all sorts of things like equality and compassion and consent and enlightenment, science, freedom, progress. |
| 0:07.1 | You believe in human rights and the inviolable dignity and worth of every person and that life is sacred. |
| 0:11.8 | All these things are beliefs that you can't prove. |
| 0:15.1 | Like, they're not the result of a logical argument. |
| 0:17.5 | And so what I'm not trying to do is make a leap of faith, Sally. |
| 0:21.5 | What I'm trying to say is, you're already mid-air, Sally. You need to ground beneath your feet, and only Jesus will |
| 0:26.0 | too. Welcome, everybody. This is Simon Gilbo with Inspired. Inspired, for if you knew to us, |
| 0:33.3 | is all about just telling stories, listening to people's journeys, including sucker punches, |
| 0:39.4 | challenges they faced and basically overcoming faith. And we're bombarded with bad news |
| 0:44.2 | relentancy these days. It's so depressing. So it's good to be encouraged. I trust that in 45, 50 |

| 1:12.5 | He's the director of Speak Life. |
| 1:15.1 | He's an author, speaker of Vanges, podcasts, all sorts of stuff. |
| 1:22.2 | I first came across him a few years ago when he interviewed my sister, Tracy Wilde, about losing her baby girl, Robin. |
| 1:25.8 | And, yeah, to me, Glenn's a relatively rare breed of big brain, good at theology, |
| 1:32.2 | philosophy, but also very good at communicating. Tracy said what struck her was that you could |
| 1:36.1 | just communicate so well without any notes, which is just, I think, powerful. I've loved your |
| 1:43.4 | reading between the lines, sort of journeying through the Old New Testaments. You've written a number of books. But anyway, I don't say any more than that. Basically, let's just kick off. And Glenn, tell us about your childhood, your background, context. Sure. Your sister is amazing. What a legend. Yeah, I loved interviewing Tracy. and, it's so much of what I do nowadays is just to have |
| 2:04.4 | a conversation with somebody who's been sustained through difficult times and then talking |
| 2:09.1 | about the hope that Jesus brings. |
| 2:10.6 | So yes, Tracy Wilde, what a legend. |
| 2:13.4 | So yes, I grew up in Australia until I was about 14 years old, came over to Wales, |
