0:34.3	Well, I grew up in a small Texas town that was in a dry county.
0:39.9	It was your typical Friday night lights, that whole, I lived that life and the two goals
0:46.4	as a team were to go to all the football games and how could we find alcohol and diet

0:54.6	I began drinking a little bit when I was in the eighth grade and I really ramped up hard
1:05.4	January of my ninth grade year and my father, my parents had a rocky relationship where
1:14.0	my father, he had so many struggles, so many inner struggles.
1:18.3	That was what he did and my mom tended to spend time trying to keep everything together.
1:24.5	And December the 6th of 1981, my father took his own life and he was, I don't like to
1:32.2	say he was an alcoholic because I don't know and it was always his responsibility to
1:36.8	say that.
1:38.2	But I really believe that he struggled deeply with alcohol and demons in his heart and
1:48.4	this timing really was bad.
