The nationalist Hindu majority, enabled by the apathy and at times endorsement of political

leaders is behind the increased hostility, discrimination and violence.

Christians in India have roots that go all the way back to the time of the apostles.

But recent political movements there have made religious minorities of all stripes, the

convenience, scapegoats and targets.

Because of various geopolitical concerns, India and the West now have a closer friendship

than ever, which incentivizes Western nations like the US to look the other way.

But we must not, as we pray for our persecuted fellow believers, we must also push our leaders

to condemn their persecution and oppression.
