And Sparky Man, it's just really cool to get to talk with you today. I appreciate the opportunity.

Glad to be here with you. Glad to be on the Square on a beautiful day.

You know, I was parking down below and I saw your name, really big letters. Tell me about reading here at

Square Books. I'll be here Thursday and Friday signing books for anybody who wants one for their

college graduate or anybody who wants one who hadn't gotten one. The book's been out since January,

I mean, since July of last year.

I've just been blown away by the success that it's had and very thankful and humble for those people who bought the book and I hope enjoyed it.

I read last night at the Oxford Library, but that's the only time I'm going to be doing any reading. Okay, so the sign was below just talking about your book. You can get it here. Yeah, and I'll be signing it here on Thursday and Friday. Thursday and Friday. Yeah, okay. Okay, perfect. We'll get to Ole Miss in just a moment. I know there's a lot to get to there, but I want to talk about this book. Because, you know, writing is something that's obviously been, you know, in my background,

it's in your background, but when do you just sit down and decide, you know what, I'm going to

write a book? Well, I had some women here in Oxford who looked at my social media and saw

the posts that I put on social media,

which were really like columns or essays about everything from life in Oxford to national stuff,

to historical stuff, kind of a walk down memory lane.
