That's friendofdinesh.com. Coming up, Kevin McCarthy has an idea for replacing the income

0:14.6

tax with the national sales tax. I'll talk about that. I'm very excited. CNN is closing its

national headquarters in Atlanta. I hope it's a first step to CNN and closing its doors completely.

Danielle, this is a guild will join me. We're going to do a take down of the worlds to leading

America needs this voice. The times are crazy and the time of confusion,

0:55.2

division and lies. We need a brave voice of reason, understanding and truth. This is the

1:01.8

Dinesh D'Souza podcast. Kevin McCarthy and some house Republicans are floating a new and

1:14.7

interesting idea. This is an idea that should not be considered seriously as a proposal that

1:23.7

is going to go through and become law. Why? Because as we've talked about in the podcast before,

1:51.6

the president. Now, normally, there's one more step that should be added. It has to be upheld

1:57.2

as constitutional by the Supreme Court because these days, all important legislation is challenged

2:03.3

on the grounds of its constitutionality. What is Kevin McCarthy's proposal good for? What's

2:09.6

its point? I think its point is to put something on the agenda, to make it part of the Republican

2:16.7

framework, the Republican vision for how to fix America and ultimately the Republican platform

2:23.8

in 2024. So this is an idea that is worth considering. It's called a fair tax. And it would

2:31.9

abolish the current tax system. Basically, no more income tax. It would abolish and affect the IRS.
