All right, ladies and gentlemen, it is race day for the United Reynolds Work, United

500 at Phoenix Raceway, 3.30 Eastern time. It's going to be a good one. A lot of unexpected,

a lot to be expected. Who's fast? Who's not?

What is new is this new lower downforce package from NASCAR. Super small spoiler. The

strakes have been taken off from the underbelly. So it's definitely taken a lot of air direction

from the diffuser.

It's taken what NASCAR has said is 30% of the total downforce off the cars.

That's a big shift.

What's it going to do?

Like, is it a balance shift?

No, the balance is relatively the same, maybe a little bit of rear off.

So we got an extended practice on Friday than the normal 20 minutes practice on Saturday

qualifying as well. So we have a little bit of experience with it. But I'm interested to see how

they react in dirty air. If a car in clean air is now that we have less down force, I wonder if a

clean air car is going to be even more

favorable because you're relying on it so much more for the little bit that you have. So I'm

interested to see how that races. Or you have more mechanical grip built into your car and it doesn't

affect it as much. That's the, that's the intention. What's the bigger change in what's,

what's making the bigger change? Is it the spoiler or

underneath the car? Really? The stuff you can't even see. Yeah. Because airflow under the car

relative to how fast it flows over the car, you know, you were in the, you were in the air

department. That's all it's about is trying to evacuate the air in the bottom of the car. So
