ahead of its IPO, SpaceX looking to make some big investments in Enterprise AI.

Hey, David, so SpaceX really started as a rocket and satellite company.

Its artificial intelligence side of the business, though, is getting a bulk of the headlines

and attention ahead of its IPO.

So Elon Musk's SpaceX did announce that it locked in the right to buy

cursor at $60 billion. You can think of this as essentially a call option. If it does not exercise

that option, SpaceX will pay $10 billion, they say, for the new partnership investors that I'm

talking to, telling me that is basically a breakup fee if it doesn't go through. The space company, though, merged with Musk's AI business.

You've remember XAI that was earlier this year, the deal to buy cursor signals a move into

AI coding.

That's where cursor's really gotten buzz and traction.

It's an increasingly competitive arena guys where Anthropic compete, you've got open AI.

They are really going at

that fiercely. XAI, from what I'm told, has been behind there. It does raise some questions

about priorities as XAI. I'm told from investors is mid-roadshow right now. They're meeting

with potential investors in Austin. This deal does raise some questions about spending debt,

focus for this company.

Then you had Reuters reporting that Musk is walking back some of his data center in space

ambitions.

So reportedly saying in the S-1 that orbital data centers involve, quote, significant technical complexity and may not be commercially viable.
