Late last month, a SpaceX rocket blasted off from the shores of Cape Canaveral. That's increasingly common. The company has had more than 100 successful launches over the past decade, so, you know,

another launch in and of itself wasn't that unusual, but this particular blast off was remarkable

for a couple of reasons. First, it was the third time in less than a year that SpaceX launched people into space.

Also, and perhaps more significantly, those people were taking off into the stratosphere

with a used rocket and capsule.
