Previously on Space Train, Doug and the Cadets headed to Arthon, the record-keeping planet.

When they found the prospective student they were looking for, Etho, they discovered that he had not been the one who sent the distress call.

They learned that Etho can read by simply touching a book and that he had been trying to read

all the books that had not yet been stolen from his planet in order to save their

information. Etho's mission kept him from going with the cadets back to the academy.

Doug and the cadets caught some thieves as they were trying to steal more books, but when they followed them up into space, they saw them drop one of the stolen books off for a prisoner in a floating glass cube.

That prisoner turned out to be the leader of the

exiles, known as the Doctor. And now for season 2 episode 9, The Exile.
