And now, Skylamp 4, the first EVA.

Before we advanced through the latter half of the mission, I wanted to rewind a bit and cover some of the highlights that we skipped over during the telling of the crew and mission controls space adaptation story.

One of the early experiments conducted was the Skylab barium-shaped charge experiments.

In this experiment, two black Brant 4A barium-shaped charge rockets were fired from Poker Flat.

These produce very interesting results to the scientist. Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory and Sandia Laboratories

participated in the experiments, providing the high explosive shaped charge

and the payload and payload preparation.
