0:18.5	got a chance to get out of the studio and head up to Comic Palusa in

0:24.2	recording of the podcast in front of a live audience of a couple hundred of our
0:28.3	closest friends to discuss the science fiction and science fact of space medicine.
0:33.7	Joining the esteemed panel was Gates McFadden, most famously known for her portrayal
0:38.6	as Dr. Beverly Crusher, Chief Medical Officer aboard the USS Enterprise and the TV show Star Trek Next Generation.
0:46.9	She shared her insight into how space medicine worked in the far-off future of Star Trek and
0:51.8	how she prepared for the role and assumed the
0:53.9	character of a space doctor and joining her on the panel were some actual
0:57.8	space doctors including Serena On On Chancellor a NASA astronaut and former
1:02.0	flight surgeon who flew in space last year, and
1:04.9	also Drs Chris Lanehart and Richard Jennings. We go into detail on who they are
1:09.6	at the very beginning of this panel. This is the first time we've recorded a
1:14.0	podcast from outside of our home here at NASA and this was the biggest live
1:18.1	audience we've had yet. So with no further delay let's jump right ahead to the another live recording of Houston,
