that was prolific voice actor Jeff Bergman.

He takes us through some of the challenges of his often overlooked profession.

All right, Barney, I'm through working at that gravel pit with Mr. Slate.

Oh, you said it, Fred. I'm right behind you.

Those are difficult because they're very different vocal placements.

Along with Bugs Bunny, Bergman also performed Sylvester the Cat, Yosemite Sam, and Yogi Bear in the latest

space jam movie. And those are just a few of the nearly 200 voices in his repertoire. Bergman

shares how a fateful meeting with the legendary Mel Blank launched him on a career voicing scores

of animated characters. But first, my banter buddies fill in while I'm on break.
