0:07.0	question. How close are we to spending a week there and calling it a vacation?
0:13.9	Why Space Hotels Matter Now? We tend to imagine space hotels as something far off in the future,
0:21.9	lumped in mentally with orbital cities, routine habitats, and the kind of science-fiction settings where space
0:26.4	is already crowded, civilized, and routine.
0:29.7	But the idea of people stay in orbit for a few days or a week, sleeping there, eating there,
0:34.6	relaxing there, is no longer some distant sci-fi milestone.
0:38.3	It's something we've already begun testing, in small, expensive, and very tentative ways.
0:44.3	The real question is whether space hotels are possible, we already know that they are.
0:48.3	The question is how close we are to them becoming normal enough to matter, normal enough
0:52.3	that they stop being heroic one-off
0:54.2	missions, and start becoming destinations.
0:57.3	Somewhere people go, stay, and come back from, without it being a global news event

1:03.4	That shift, from experiment to industry, is what actually defines the arrival of space hotels.
1:09.2	To get there, we need to talk about scale, price, and purpose,
1:12.8	because the difference between a novelty and a real destination isn't just technology. It's how many
1:17.6	people go, how out do they go, and why they're willing to pay to be there. What do we mean by
